Ms Sarah Tarar, Dean International College for Legal Studies, Ms Seemin Ahmed, Deputy Director ICLS and Mr Moghees Uddin Khan, Associate Director ICLS along with students were invited to be a part of Pakistan’s first Technology for Justice Forum, organized by Vakeel Online on behalf of Justice Project Pakistan on the 5th of March 2022.
The event was was one of a kind gathering of key private sector investors, Pakistani thought leaders including senior government stakeholders, International actors, legal practitioners, and academics.The aim of legaltech is to improve transparency, accountability and efficiency of Pakistan’s Legal system.
The key panelists and speakers included SC Justice Ijaz ul-Ahsan, Senator Walid Iqbal, Punjab Minister of IT Raja Yasir, Faisal Aftab, Beau Seil, Sarah Belal, Isfundiar Kasuri, Taimur Malik, Huma Ejaz Zaman, Muhammad Ahmad Pansota and Nida Usman. Ramla Baig was the presenter and Vishal Shakir and Abdul Ghani were part of the organising team.
