Moghees Uddin Khan

Associate Director Academics | Director CLHR | Lecturer PIL, IPHR & LLM | LLM (Warwick)

Mr Moghees Uddin Khan is the Associate Director Academics as well as the Director of Centre for Law and Human Rights (CLHR) at International College for Legal Studies, which works in collaboration with Amnesty international South Asia. In addition, he is the Lecturer for Public International Law, International Protection of Human Rights and LLM Modules for the University of London courses.

Mr Khan completed his LLB (Hons) degree from the University of London and went on to do his LLM in International Development Law and Human Rights Law, specializing in Governance at the University of Warwick, UK. His primary areas of focus include International Humanitarian Law, Preventive Detention and the Enforcement of International Human Rights treaties. Mr. Khan was also a member of the Conflict Law Centre at RSIL. 

He is also Co-founder of Phir/Se, a law and design consultancy working towards a cleaner and greener Pakistan. He has co-authored three books on International Humanitarian law for Government stakeholders and International Organisations. He has been teaching for the University of London modules for a number of years now.
