Bakhtiar Ali Khan
Bakhtiar Ali Khan is a bar course graduate with experience in corporate and regulatory practice. He currently works at EY MENA Law and handles corporate compliance and advisory.
Prior to this he worked as an associate at RIAA Barker Gillette where his work included supporting M&A transactions, drafting due diligence reports, preparing power purchase agreements and guiding clients on company law, labour law, insurance law and intellectual property matters. He has also assisted with trademark and patent filings and contributed to research for litigation.
His earlier experience at Mohsin Tayebaly & Co. gave him exposure to both corporate and contentious work, ranging from drafting finance agreements to preparing memorandums and skeleton arguments. He has also worked on refugee interviews for a human rights project and completed an English-teaching internship in Egypt that strengthened his communication skills.
Bakhtiar holds a Bar Vocational Studies degree with a specialism in corporate law from City, University of London, and an LLB (Hons) from the University of London. He is a member of Lincoln’s Inn and has published opinion pieces in national newspapers. He is fluent in English and Urdu, with working knowledge of French.
