Centre for Practical Legal Training

As the sole University of London (UoL) Recognised Teaching Centre with an established Centre for Practical Legal Training, ICLS is a true leader in Pakistan’s legal education landscape. Our robust team of practitioners delivers a practice-oriented learning experience to our students.

ICLS recognized a significant gap in the legal education offered by University of London teaching institutions: Graduates often completed law school with limited knowledge of domestic law and its procedures. To bridge this gap, ICLS set up this comprehensive Centre for Practical Legal Training with its core mission being to ensure a strong connection between academic knowledge and practical application for our students.

Tour Centre for Practical Legal Training provides students with a taste of practical experience while still at law school. Students gain exposure to diverse practice areas, including civil litigation, criminal trials, arbitration proceedings, corporate negotiations, contract drafting, and family law matters, all while learning to interact with clients. This prepares them for the legal field without any additional cost or time.

Furthermore, through our affiliated law firm, we offer students unparalleled access to actual ongoing cases, allowing them to engage with the intricacies of drafting, ling, negotiations, and trial preparation.

The Discover Law Summer Workshop & Annual legal training programme at the International College for Legal Studies (ICLS) offers aspiring legal minds an immersive introduction to the world of law. Designed for students, young professionals, and anyone keen to develop their legal acumen, these interactive workshops blends academic learning with practical exposure.
